The core school day for Reception to year 6 pupils is:
- 8.45am to 3.20pm,
- Total time in school of 32.5 hours per week.
Typical timings for the school day at Dunton Green are shown below. From time-to-time for specific events, timings may be suspended.

Children who are not collected promptly may be placed into our after-school club run by Premier Education UK, at a charge.
Should arrangements change for the collection of your child/children, please let the class teacher know via the School Office, who will pass on a message.
This allows us to be comfortable and confident that at the end of the school day we are allowing our children home with the adults they are meant to be with.
For children in year 5 and year 6, parents may choose to allow their child to walk or cycle to and from school on their own. If this is the case, parents must inform the school of this decision in writing.
